What is "MSM"?
MSM stands for Methyl Sulfonyl Methane. MSM is a
natural form of organic sulfur found in the fluid of all living
organisms. It is present in a variety of foods including fruits and
vegetables. The body uses MSM with other vitamins and amino acids to
repair and create new, healthy cells. Without adequate levels of
MSM, our body and skin is unable to build good healthy cells which
can lead to premature aging and other immune-suppressed conditions.
Aging occurs when a body is deficient of the clean materials needed
to repair damaged tissues and organs. To assist the body in its
fight to suppress this deterioration process we use MSM for
anti-aging and improve skin development, rejuvenation, repair, and
beauty health. You will notice a huge difference when using the MSM
facial wash.

What is "Ester C"?
Vitamin C Esters are made of L-ascorbic acid
joined with a fatty acid creating an ester bond. Vitamin C Esters
stimulate collagen production plus it is fat-soluble, making it
stable, non-acidic, completely non-irritating to the skin. Ester C
offers maximum protection against free radicals and is
anti-inflammatory. This is different then ascorbic acid because
unlike ascorbic acid (regular vitamin C), Ester C can penetrate the
skin barrier at levels ten times higher then ascorbic acid. Most
impotantly, Ester C stimulates collagen production helping to
minimize wrinkles. We use 10% Ester C in our Perfection-C Vitamin C
Crème and Nighttime Moisturizer Plus, which are higher levels then
other C crèmes on the market.

What is "liposome
delivery"?
Liposomes are highly complex microscopic lipid
spheres, ranging in size from 50 nanometers to several micrometers
in diameter, and are formed when phospholipids are hydrated. They
join “tails-to-tails” to build a bilayer membrane which encloses
some of the water in a phospholipid sphere. They can encapsulate
water-soluble ingredients in their inner water space, and
oil-soluble ingredients in their phospholipid membranes. Simple put,
at one end a phospholipid molecule is water soluble, while the
opposite end is water insoluble and when combined with water it
forms a sphere about 1/50th the diameter of a human hair trapping
the water inside. Liposomes are made with concentrated phospholipids
purified from natural lecithin and are bioidentical to the
phospholipids that make up cell membranes. The unique quality of
liposomes is that they enable water soluble and water insoluble
ingredients to be used together in a formula without the use of
surfactants or other emulsifiers. Water soluble ingredients are
dissolved in the water in which the phospholipids are hydrated, and
when the liposomes form the ingredients are trapped in the water
center. Liposomes have been used as delivery systems for
pharmaceuticals, vitamins and cosmetic ingredients. Liposomes can be
custom tailored for different needs by modifying the phospholipid
amount, size and method of manufacturing. The preparation of
liposomes requires careful attention to ease of formulation,
encapsulation efficiency and production capacity. The benefits of
liposomes are: Non-toxic biodegradable, efficient controlled
delivery system, delivery of both water soluble and water insoluble
actives, stabilizes actives, prevents oxidation of actives, and
provides hydration.

Are the products
clinically tested?
Yes. Many of our ingredients are clinically tested
for specific results on specific conditions. Matrixyl: a messenger peptide that stimulates the production
of skin fibroblast to rebuild the dermal matrix molecules and
significantly reduce the appearance of wrinkles. Argireline: reduces catecholamine release. Catecholamine is
responsible for muscle contraction when we change our facial
expressions. Through the years, the skin becomes tired from the
repeated muscle contractions, giving way to wrinkles. By reducing
catecholamine release, a significant reduction in the depth and size
of wrinkles is observed. Ester C: stimulates collagen production
helping to minimize wrinkles. MSM: The body uses MSM with the use of other vitamins and
amino acids to repair and create new healthy cells. Sepilift®: (dipalmitoylhydroxypropline) is a plant derived
hydroxyproline that provides triple skin firming action. It
stimulates the contraction of collagen fibres, protects elastin and
protects fibroblast against free radicals. This triple firming
action resculpts the face skin and corrects imperfections for a
natural face lift. CoQ10: a powerful antioxidant and gives vital anti-aging
results by stimulating a immune system, increasing tissue
oxygenation and effectively counteracts free radical damage. Sepivital: is an Ester C joined with vitamin E to optimize
the penetration into the cell membrane so efficiently that it gives
spontaneous anti-inflammatory benefits.
And the test best comes from our many satisfied customers. Our
products are well traveled and tested by the most critical customers
in the world with glowing results.

Why do most skin care
companies use the harmful ingredients listed on your site?
While you may hear there are many reasons (aging
chemists with old-school philosophies, reduced costs for better
profitability, ease of use in formulation and compounding, education
and careful vision), the main reason is many companies don’t care
what is in the products they sell, and are just marketing products
to make money. We have developed these products for results— skin
care results— not our bottom line. We began by identifying the
ingredients we WON’T EVER use. With our mission in mind, we
researched and tested safe and natural alternatives, and then made
products that WE WANT to use. In doing so, we eliminated harmful
ingredients and produced a line of products we use on our own
families.
Absolutely not. We do not test on animals nor do
we ask anyone to conduct animal testing on our behalf. Tests are
done on human volunteers only. All the ingredients in our skin
care are completely safe for humans thus we will never need nor do
we ever want to test on animals. Animals don’t need to use skin
care products, so why test on them?
